The Treasures of the Acropolis

To rephrase – I like beautiful, old architecture with antiquity and a story.

Thankfully, Athens has no shortage of it. Walking up to the Acropolis, taking in the views from the top of the hill, exploring the Pantheon – the day in its entirety was beautiful and the experience was mind-boggling. The Acropolis has seen more history than any human could ever fathom. It has stood its ground through wars, revolutions, and the ages of brilliance. It has been home to Athena, Christian priests, and the British army during WWII. It has seen it all, and I have seen so little. Seeing it, however, is enough for me.

Until next time,

Michaela
