Bullet Journaling

With the craziness, uncertainty, and social distancing that seems to be defining 2020, now is as good a time as ever to pick up pick up a new creative outlet. Maybe it’s drawing, playing an instrument, sewing, blogging, knitting, or whatever other hobby floats your boat – go ahead and take a deep dive into it!

If you’ve been following my blog for a while now, you probably know that I have been bullet journaling for quite some time now. I started a brand new bullet journal in the month of March (my last one saw its final pages in February), so I figured it was time for a little blog showcase and update on my new spreads.

When I did my 2020 spread in my last bullet journal, I wasn’t crazy about it. The second time around, I decided to go with a more neutral, minimalist theme. I love the way my “2020 Year in Review” spread turned out (second photo) and I’ve been having a lot of fun filling out my “Best of…” page at the end of each month.

For the month of March, I decided to go with a green, plant theme that I ended up L O V I N G. I can’t take any credit for the idea (I definitely got it from another blogger), but I think it turned out well. And did I use my new yoga mat as a flat lay specifically for this theme? Absolutely.

With Easter coming up in April, I went with a cute little Easter egg, pastel theme for this month. Plus, it was fun to experiment with my white gel pens for the detailing on the eggs and the lettering.

That’s all the bullet journal updates I have for now, but I’ll be posting a few more times throughout the year on this creative journey.

Wherever you are across the globe, I am praying for protection over you and your loved ones. As we adjust to a temporarily new normal, I pray you find joy and happiness in the midst of the chaos. He is good.

Until next time,
